Our mission is to empower short women by creating a brand where short women can shop confidently according to their height. Let's be FR, yes, you can get a great find at the Kids Section, but there's no reason an adult women should feel bound to it or settle for what fits.

Hummingbirds are the smallest bird species in the world and are particularly known to be very beautiful and bright in color. Science says the Hummingbird should not be able to fly because it's wings are far too small to carry the weight of its body, yet IT DOES ! Not only can it fly but it's the only bird with the ability to fly backwards. What better symbol could there be to capture the essence of a Short Women? There is none.

The current PETITE fashion industry does NOT work. It never has and it never will. It requires change and we hope to be the brand that changes it. Most petite brands consider 5'4" to be petite, therefore designing their clothing for a women of that height. Because many women fall well below this height- shopping at petite sections would still have you experiencing the same issues. The ONLY way to solve this issue is to offer every style for every height in every size. We're re-inventing the wheel and beginning a MOVEMENT much bigger than us. We are purposeful and intentional. We are different.

Hi ! I'm Savanah, the founder of PPB. I am petite and have faced all the same struggles you have- so this boutique is very personal to me. Believe it or not; this boutique came out of what I once considered was a failure in my life (I'm about to get really personal). After becoming a certificated UX/UI Designer in Miami and even teaching it; I was rejected my "dream job" many times because of my petite stature and youthful appearance. "How do I know it was that ???" Well, I'm glad you asked. I personally think it's a dead giveaway after being stopped in a professional interview and being asked to show my I.D to prove I was of legal age. Automatic ICK. Not sold? I was once hired after several Zoom Interviews and when I went into the office to meet everyone; they were shocked and made it clear that they thought I was much older. They UNHIRED me the next day. LOL. While I laugh about it now and am thankful for God shutting that door in my face - it wasn't so funny as I was experiencing it. It hurt my confidence and eventually I decided that if they weren't willing to invest in me; I'd do it myself and never work for anyone else again. While waitressing I constantly thought of businesses I could begin; maybe a coffee shop... a nail salon ? IDK. One day after serving a few tables I'd went home feeling sad and discouraged; I'd spent my whole day hearing comment's like; Are you old enough to get us our drinks? Oh my I thought you were 15 - I knew these comments were made jokingly and with a light heart - but after my previous experience; I couldn't hold back the tears from falling. It just reminded me of why I was pushed away from my dream job. In attempts to make myself feel better I went to the mall, because well.... retail therapy. After trying on endless fits I felt even more disappointed with myself and cried harder - alone- in a fitting room and in a semi second I began laughing because I had an ironic idea practically pop up like neon lights in my head.
